CLTNet Pty Ltd – Computerised Theory Testing System

CLTNet Pty Ltd is a 100% owned subsidiary of Transol. The CLTNet Computerised Theory Testing System is used by Governments and businesses to conduct competency based theory testing required in education, corporate and government compliance (for example, automated driver license testing). CLTNet creates and manages interactive knowledge testing solutions that completely replaces paper based testing. The technology is commercially proven, with systems currently deployed in Australia, Singapore, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The CLTNet software was originally created to provide a reliable, easy-to-use, interactive, computer based testing for ‘paperless' driver licence testing. Its core modules may be applied to manage any knowledge testing or certification requirements, while its operating features also support effective knowledge transfer and training applications.

CLTNet is offered as a client server platform or web service for both official testing and practice testing. The system can be offered as a stand alone solution or integrated and is configurable to meet a clients particular needs.

The CLTNet System:

• Improves test access and equity with language options (a core strength of CLTNet is its multiple language capabilities), alternative test formats (text, audio and graphical) and creative multimedia to address disability and learning difficulties

• Supplies aesthetic, ergonomically sound kiosks, or PC-based solutions according to client preferences

• Prevents cheating with randomised test construction

• Guarantees fairness with test equalisation, by monitoring performance on each item to yield its facility rating for each test item and using this data to guide test construction

• Provides comprehensive reporting and analysis to enhance program development and guide public awareness and safety programs

• Provides personalised test study tips on failed items via printed guides or via the internet

• Allows intelligent test construction via direct communication with the licensing registration database or polling of locally stored driver information

• Supports staged program implementation with scalable system design and standard industry interfaces.
